7 Things You Didn’t Know About CRPA

• The California Rifle & Pistol Association has been around since 1875! Four years after the creation of the NRA, and nearly one hundred years before the creation of Gun Owners of America.
• One of our main focuses is gun safety; practicing gun safety is the first portion of our motto for a reason.
• How do we promote gun safety? Training. We have dozens of classes each month on how to handle your firearm with respect.
• We are a statewide organization! From Imperial County to Modoc County, we are present up and down the state in both our membership and with our events!
• The CRPA PAC fights for your 2nd Amendment rights during political elections! Sheriff’s races are important to our organization as the position determines the likelihood of CCW issuances. State Legislature positions determine the laws that might inhibit or allow law-abiding gun owners to exercise their rights. We make an effort to vet and identify pro and anti-2A candidates before they’re elected!
• Our CRPA headquarters is located in Fullerton, California; our original location was in San Fransisco!
•  Our main goals? Prevent further gun-restrictions on law-abiding gun owners in California. Make sure they’re safe, shoot straight and fight back!
