2017 Legislative Victories

1. SB 497: SB 497 would have expanded the one gun a month rule currently in place for handguns to include rifles and shotguns as well. Thanks to the hard work of CRPA, our members, and our pro-2a allies, this provision was removed from the bill.
2. AB 718: AB 718 frees up money for waterfowl habitat development and preservation. This bill was signed by the governor on 10/3/17.
3. SB 464: SB 464 would have increased security requirements for FFLs. The increased cost of this security would have put countless small family owned gun shops out of business. Thanks to your support and tireless efforts, the governor vetoed this bill.
