SB 762
Fish And Wildlife: Taking And Possession
Yee, D – San Francisco
Purpose Of Legislation: Existing law makes it unlawful to take any bird, mammal, fish, reptile, or amphibian except as provided in the Fish and Game Code or regulations made pursuant to that code. Possession of those animals, or animal parts, under specified circumstances is prima facie evidence the possessor took the animal or animal parts. This bill would make technical, non-substantive changes to those provisions.
