CRPA Alert: Oppose AB 711

Dear CRPA Member,

Over the holiday weekend, there was some confusion and misinformation about where CRPA’s affiliates stand on AB 711 (The Lead Ammo Bill).  For the record, nothing has changed, nor did it ever…  The CRPA and its affiliates, including the California Deer Association, the California Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, and the California Youth Shooting Sports Association are in complete unity concerning our comprehensive opposition to AB 711.

AB 711 (Rendon, D) Hunting: nonlead ammunition. 

This bill threatens to ban hunting with lead ammo and force hunters to use expensive nonlead ammo! Don’t let California become the only state with a law prohibiting the use of lead ammunition for ALL hunting!

AB 711 has now passed out of the Senate Appropriations Committee and will now go to the Senate floor for a vote between now and September 13! CRPA needs your help to stop this anti-gun and anti-hunting bill. Don’t forget to spread the word to fellow firearms owners and sportsmen; Share this alert with anyone who can help our cause.
