Del Mar Gun Show – We need your help!

DEL MAR FAIRGROUNDS BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING ON GUN SHOWS

The gun show banners have been at it for months, but CRPA and NRA attorneys and our incredible association members have been fighting back. So far we have been successful in holding off the anti-gun show groups that have organized across the state. Now we need you again!

The next meeting of the Del Mar Fairgrounds Board of Directors will be critical. The entire first part of the meeting will be dedicated to a discussion of the gun shows. All the anti-groups, like Gifford’s and “Never Again,” will be there in full force speaking out against continuing the gun shows at the fairgrounds. Their main goal is to eliminate the forums of ideas where like-minded pro Second Amendment people can gather, and to take away your ability to lawfully purchase firearms at a highly regulated and safe gun show. There are no alternative venues big enough to hold an event like this, so the anti-gun folks are pulling out all the stops to censor the pro-Second Amendment viewpoint at this government owned venue. Don’t let them get away with it!

We need your help!
Gun control groups are working hard in this area of the state to institute more ill-conceived  gun control laws, to eliminate the “gun culture” and pro-Second Amendment messaging, and to take away your right to choose to own a gun for sport, or to defend yourself and your family. This is a coordinated and well-funded effort at viewpoint discrimination and censorship, and it is being pushed all across the state.

It is critical that all gun owners and Second Amendment supporters make their voices heard during the meeting.

Please take the time to write to the Board members in support of the educational, safe, family-friendly, lawful gun show at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

The meeting is scheduled for September 11, at 10:00AM in the
Board Chambers located at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd., Del Mar, CA 92014.
