Sacramento Update & Tribute to Sam Paredes

September always brings craziness in Sacramento. While this is only the halfway point of a two-year session, there’s still chaos and the potential for last minute hijinks.

Luckily for CRPA and the 2A cause, our man in the Capitol, CRPA Legislative Director Rick Travis, remains on the case. In the latest installment of CRPA TV, host Kevin Small welcomes Rick back for a recap of where things stand after the Appropriations process did its magic.

The end of today’s video also features a heartfelt tribute to Sam Paredes, the longtime advocate for Gun Owners of California, who recently passed. Sam was a friend and mentor to many in the 2A community and a powerful force in the fight to strengthen and defend gun rights in California. His presence will be missed, but his contributions leave a valuable legacy to which we all can aspire.
