CRPA’s Chuck Michel Named 2023 Gun Rights Defender of the Year

The Citizen’s Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms has named CPRA President & General Counsel Chuck Michel as their 2023 “Gun Rights Defender of the Year”.  The award was announced at the recent Road to Liberty Gun Rights Policy Conference hosted by the Second Amendment Foundation in Phoenix, at which Chuck was a featured speaker.

As noted in CCRKBA’s release, Chuck’s dedication to defending the Second Amendment has deep roots and a wide reach. From his early years as a criminal prosecutor in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office through the establishment of his own law practice to his tireless service to CPRA, the Second Amendment Law Center, and countless other associations, Chuck’s contributions will be felt for decades to come in the 2A community.

CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb summed it up well: “He is an effective litigator and advocate for the right to keep and bear arms, and anytime you’re involved in a gun rights case, you want him in your corner.”
