California State Senate Rules Committee To Hold Hearing On Jerry Brown’s Nominee For Attorney General

January 16, 2017

Last Friday, the State Assembly voted to approve the confirmation of United States Congressman Xavier Becerra as California’s next Attorney General. This, of course, was a party-line vote of 56 to 23. The next to take on the confirmation is the State Senate. This Wednesday, January 18 at 10:00 a.m. the Senate Rules Committee will be holding a hearing on the matter. The hearing will take place at the Capitol in Room 113.

As previously reported, it would be a disaster to the freedoms of law-abiding Californians if Congressman Becerra was to be confirmed as our next Attorney General. As supporters of the Second Amendment, we must do all we can to prevent someone who is against individual liberty from holding such a critical position.

To make a difference, please call your Senator. You can find your Senator by clicking here.

We also recommend that you call each member of the Senate Rules Committee and make your voice heard. The contact info for the Senate Rules Committee members can be found here.
