AB 500 Proposes to allow the Department of Justice (DOJ) to extend the waiting period from 10 to 15 days in some circumstances. Proposes safe storage requirements for firearms. Proposes to require the dealer to notify DOJ that the purchaser actually took possession of the purchased firearm.
