Summary: Existing law generally makes any violation of the Fish and Game Code or any rule, regulation, or order made or adopted under the code a misdemeanor. This bill would allow the district attorney to charge certain violations of the Fish and Game Code and Fish and Game Commission regulations as either a misdemeanor or an infraction.
