November 21, 2016

CRPA was instrumental in this decision as earlier this year, our legal team provided a booklet to the Kern High School District and their staff on the positives of allowing parents, legal guardians, and teachers to carry on campus.

In addition to this monumental decision, the Kern High School district earlier this year voted to allow non-staff individuals to carry on campus. This includes, parents, legal guardians, and others.

CRPA will continue to be active at the local level to ensure that other school districts will follow the lead of the Kern High School District.

If you would like to help us with this endeavor by talking to your local school board or child’s teacher, you can purchase the very same booklet that we provided to multiple school districts throughout California.

This booklet can be purchased by visiting: bit.ly/SB707.
