Join The Fight For Affordable Youth Hunting
As many of you know, hunters are the cornerstone of conservation efforts in our state. In addition to managing animal populations, hunting dollars pay for the upkeep of our pristine state parks and beaches. Without hunters and the revenue they provide, some of our greatest natural treasures could be threatened.
With hunting on the decline in California, millions of conservation dollars are in danger of slipping away. Without this money, the future of our state’s conservation projects and parks are put in jeopardy. We must revitalize hunting by ensuring a robust new generation of hunters.
AB 2151 (Gray, D) aims to create affordable youth tags for many of California’s most coveted big game animals. Currently, many families cannot afford to spend hundreds of dollars on tags for their child to hunt. If AB 2151 is passed, it will make hunting affordable for all children.
Tomorrow, AB 2151 goes before the Assembly Committee on Appropriations. With your help, we can secure affordable hunting for generations to come. Please contact the committee members today and urge them to vote yes on AB 2151.
