Help CRPA & NRA Roll Back California’s Draconian Gun Laws

CRPA and NRA have been fighting to preserve your freedom to protect yourself and your family in California for decades. With Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election and the potential for a strong pro-Second Amendment Supreme Court, it is now time to go on the offensive with lawsuits challenging the ill-conceived laws created by the Legislature and Proposition 63.

So what are we planning?

• Legal challenges to the bans on so-called “large capacity magazines” and “assault weapons” as well as to aspects of the new ammunition restrictions.
• Filing lawsuits we have already prepared that have been waiting in the wings for the ideal time to press forward- Now is that time.
• Monitor CA DOJ’s proposed regulations implementing the new laws and challenge any improper ones in court.
• Continue to grow the grassroots structure that was created during the election year in the individual counties across the state, which will allow for more influence at the local levels of government and up.

Sound like a good plan? Well, the reality is without your financial support it will never come to be. Vast amounts of money were spent on electing Donald Trump and securing the Supreme Court. The CRPA’s and NRA’s war chests desperately need to be refilled so we can capitalize on that victory and execute our plan.

Second Amendment supporters should be cautious of other organizations that solicit fundraising dollars as many are unproven, lack the experience, resources, and skills, and have not shown themselves to be as successful as the CRPA and NRA. CRPA and NRA legal teams of highly regarded civil rights attorneys, legislative advocates, and scholars have what it takes to maximize the potential for victory in California and across the nation.
