Happy Thanksgiving From CRPA

November 23, 2016

This Thanksgiving, CRPA is immensely grateful for its members and supporters. Over this past year, you have stood with us as we sought to defend your right to keep and bear arms in California.

Without your efforts, the following could not have happened:

  • The establishment of the Coalition for Civil Liberties, which includes multiple civil rights groups including CRPA and NRA and was responsible for organizing every major law enforcement group to oppose Proposition 63.
  • The creation of multiple ads by the Coalition for Civil Liberties and its members to bring attention to the disastrous impacts of Proposition 63 if allowed to go into law.
  • The formation of a CRPA grassroots organization that will grow into a statewide army that will assist in not only electing pro-Second Amendment candidates to office but also to deter city councils, school boards, county governments, and the state legislature from enacting anti-firearm laws and ordinances.

In addition to these efforts, there is also much to look forward to at the national level that will help CRPA/NRA defend our freedoms in California.

With the election of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States, CRPA/NRA will be able to launch successful lawsuits against each gun bill signed by Governor Jerry Brown and the recently passed Proposition 63.

CRPA and the NRA are no longer on defense and will be taking the fight to statist politicians like Gavin Newsom who do not believe in your inalienable right to protect yourself and your family.

Thank you for standing by our side during this tumultuous period and from all of us at CRPA, we would like to wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving.
