Gun Hating Senator Thinks Third Time Will Be The Charm

April 17, 2018

Senator Portantino is making the third go at our Constitutional rights. SB 1100 aims to resurrect the failed one long-gun per month pipe-dream and to restrict the sale and transfer of firearms to anyone under the age of 21.

When an anti-gun bill fails to pass not once, but twice, in California, you know it has to be bad. When will he take the hint that this is not responsible “common sense” legislation?

Removing the rights of law abiding adults under the age of 21 seems to be the anti-gun flavor of the week. Though gun-ban activists will try to sell this as meaningful reform, we call BS! How can you consider stripping active duty soldiers and young single mothers of their right to self-defense?

People between the ages of 18 & 21 fall into this category all the time. How can Senator Portantino and so many others deny the most deserving and vulnerable members of our society this most basic right?

We have stopped a similar bill before, and we are prepared to do it again. This bill will be heard in the Senate soon; contact your Senator today and tell them to vote NO on SB 1100. With the support of our dedicated legislative team, and members like you, we can ensure that one gun a month does not become law.
