CRPAnews: Ventura Gun Shows Continue Into 2019
Yesterday, a temporary decision was made regarding the survival of the Crossroads of the West Gun Shows at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. A large turnout from both opposition and supporters of the gun show made their voices heard during the public comment portion of the board meeting before a final vote was taken. It appeared that more supporters of the gun show spoke up for its rightful place in the community, some of which were CRPA affiliates as we as those who were not affiliated.
A report from the Ad Hoc committee states that the investigation they are conducting is still not ready to report, prompting the board members to vote to pass that the first two gun shows of 2019 go on as scheduled.
