Los Angeles City Considers Black Listing 2A Businesses

February 4, 2019

At the Budget & Finance Committee meeting for the Los Angeles City Council, agenda item number 7 reads,

“City Attorney Report and Ordinance relative to amending the Los Angeles Administrative Code to require City contractors to disclose all contracts with or sponsorship of the National Rifle Association.”

This measure passed the committee and will be heard at the Los Angeles City Council meeting, date to be determined.

Here we are again, a new age of McCarthyism. The Second Amendment community and its culture are a target for those who oppose it. The city of Los Angeles has chosen to follow the example of the new California Governor Newsom in attacking those who would stand for our constitutional right to keep and bear arms and claim to be a part of such a community.

For the left, the new “red menace” is the Californian who stands with the constitution. We will not stand down.

Stay updated with CRPA for more on this matter.
