California DOJ Proposes Regulations On “Bullet-Button Assault Weapons

Today, the California Department of Justice (DOJ) filed proposed regulations on “Bullet Button Assault Weapons” with the Office of Administrative Law (OAL).

CRPA is currently waiting for more information so that a proper analysis of the proposed regulations can be done.

Earlier this month, CRPA and NRA submitted a letter about the DOJ’s failure to act on proposing new regulations for SB 880 and AB 1135. These were the two bills that impact the so-called “Bullet Button Assault Weapons.”
