Riverside County Superior Court Judge Election Alert – Keep Out Anti-Gun Candidate Burke Strunsky!

Riverside voters, we need your help! Attorney Burke Strunsky is running for Superior Court Judge, and he must be defeated! Judicial candidate Strunsky is the legal architect behind San Francisco’s failed Proposition H (“Prop H”), arguably the most extreme gun control measure ever proposed in this state, which is no stranger to gun regulation. Prop H sought to completely ban civilian handgun possession by San Francisco residents, as well as to ban the sale, transfer, or distribution of any firearm or ammunition within San Francisco. The notorious anti-gun politician Chris Daly, former San Francisco Supervisor and sponsor of Prop H, credited Strunsky as instrumental in drafting Prop H. Thankfully, the right to self-defense was saved from Strunsky’s attack when Prop H was struck down by a 2008 NRA/CRPA supported lawsuit, Fiscal v. City and County of San Francisco.

Drafting Prop H took a lot of legal creativity and anti-gun motivation. If elected to the Superior Court, the bias that Strunsky put into drafting Prop H as a lawyer will no doubt be reflected in his interpreting laws and regulations against gun owners as a judge.

Help stop Strunsky from bringing his San Francisco biases against gun-owners to Riverside County! Do not contribute money to Strunsky’s campaign! Vote against him in the June 7^th primary election, and encourage your friends to do the same! The good news is one of Strunsky’s opponents in the race, D.W. Duke, has made clear in a public statement that he believes in a robust right to bear arms.  Based on his statements, the NRA and CRPA recommend that voters in Riverside support Duke’s campaign to defeat Strunsky.

If you have not done so already, please register to vote today so you can participate in the June 7^th Primary Election and help pro-Second Amendment candidates! Watch for our slate in early May, which will list all pro-gun candidates worth supporting. If every single gun owner and believer in the right to keep and bear arms votes in the upcoming election, we can turn back the onslaught of anti-gun regulations coming from state and local politicians.
