Olympic Champ Kim Rhode From SHOT Show
Kim Rhode knows very well that anything truly worthwhile takes patience and hard work. A six-time medal winner at the Olympics, including a world record performance in London in 2012, Rhode is one of the more accomplished shooters in the sport and she brings the same tenacity to her work in the 2A community.
At SHOT Show last week, CRPA TV had a chance to catch up with the Olympic legend and namesake of the lawsuit challenging California’s onerous regulatory scheme for ammo. Ms. Rhode updates the case that bears her name and counsels 2A advocates to keep up the fight.

Rhode v. Bonta is just one of dozens of cases pending in lower courts that could be impacted by decisions from the Supreme Court this spring. With a historic number of Second Amendment cases up for review, and two already granted cert, NOW IS THE TIME!
Oral arguments in Wolford v. Lopez took place last week and oral arguments in U.S. v. Hemani are scheduled for March 2nd. In the coming weeks we also expect to hear whether Duncan v. Bonta, CRPA’s challenge to CA’s magazine ban, will also be heard by the Court.
The decisions in these cases can radically alter the fortunes of cases across the country challenging ammo bans, handgun registries, excessive fees and taxes, and a host of CCW restrictions. Are you with us???
