Tiffany Cheuvront with Cam Edwards on Cam & Co

October 25, 2018

In another of a series of efforts to ban gun shows at public venues in California, citizens packed the Ventura County Fairgrounds board meeting to speak about the vote on the contract that expires in 2019. Michel and Associates attorney Tiffany Cheuvront says Moms Demand Action representatives were there, even though the issue wasn’t on the agenda. They’re coordinating statewide to eliminate the natural gathering place of gun owners. They don’t want families attending the shows, leading their children astray with the radical notion that owning a gun is normal. Tiffany also discusses the state preemption issues raised by local anti-gun ordinances in Morgan Hill and an effort in San Diego County to ban recreational shooting on federal lands. The designated purpose of those lands is hunting and recreational shooting. Originally aired on Cam & Co 10/25/18.
