Revisiting NRA’s Convention In St. Louis

May 9, 2012

By Kyle Jillson

A little less than a month ago NRA supporters streamed through the doors of America’s Center Convention Complex in St. Louis and started exploring the 141st NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits. If you were lucky enough to go, I trust you had a great time – NRAblog certainly did. Although hectic at times, this year’s Annual Meeting was incredible and we will likely need the entire year to recover before doing it again in Houston in 2013.

The 2012 Annual Meeting was a booming success. It was the largest in our organization’s history. After the doors were closed and the final number tallied, the NRA convention saw 73,740 people show up to proclaim their support of the Second Amendment. The last time NRA was at St. Louis, in 2008, the Annual Meeting also set a then-attendance record of almost 69,000.
