City of Carson BACKS DOWN to Pro-2A Citizens
Last night, law-abiding gun owners showed that they can stop politicians from enforcing unconstitutional laws in California. The City of Carson was ultimately attempting to zone out gun dealers from their city and prohibit the possession of firearms in most public places. When asked if this would include sidewalks and streets, the City Attorney confirmed that even walking down the sidewalk with a lawful firearm would be a violation of the Mayor’s proposal.
After over two hours of testimony by gun owners, gun store owners, and even a leader of the local union speaking out against this proposal, the City Council voted against the Mayor.
Mayor Robles was not happy with the outcome, but maybe it’s time these politicians realize that law-abiding citizens and businesses are not happy with their continued political stunts.
