Chuck Michel: California Enacts Draconian Gun Control Laws
The California State Legislature has passed and sent a package of twelve sweeping gun control bills to Governor Jerry Brown. They include background checks on the purchase of ammunition, a ban on ownership of magazines holding more than 10 rounds, prohibiting rifles with bullet buttons that detach magazines and requiring FFL private transfers. Civil rights attorney Chuck Michel of Michel and Associates reports that Governor Brown has signed six of the bills. His office is being flooded with questions from gun owners, and he urges them to go to the CRPA.org website and register to receive today’s analysis.
