New From CRPA TV: New Fees & “3 in 30” Bill

The passage of Prop. 63 was certainly a dark day for lawful gun owners, but who knew it would also kick off a series of disasters for the state itself.

Still pending challenge in CRPA’s Rhode v. Bonta case, the registration scheme concocted by DOJ to implement Prop. 63 required a $25 million loan to get started and has been underwater ever since. In the latest installment of CRPA TV, attorney Matt Cubeiro joins host Kevin Small to break down how the state’s bungling mismanagement spurred (surprise!) a new fee for gun owners.

Matt and Kevin also discuss the recent decision in Nguyen v. Bonta and the disingenuous effort to “raise” that limit to three firearm purchases in 30 days. The recent decision was a smack down of “1 in 30” and lawmakers hungry for gun control are just playing games to keep dragging things out.
