When Sacramento goes after your guns, there really is nothing they let get in the way. We’ve already seen lawmakers discard the First Amendment with the youth marketing and gun show bans. Next up? Computer code.

City Attorney David Chiu against the Gatalog Foundation and CTRLPew LLC for “unlawfully distributing computer code for 3D printing” of various firearm parts.

As one might imagine, a case this outlandish case has some twists and turns to it. Trying to criminalize free speech, legal speech that emanates from another state no less, presents a multitude of constitutional problems…and CRPA is fighting back!
