ABOUT OUR CHAPTER
The Marin County Gun Owners love bad dad jokes, agenda puns, and squirrels. Let me explain the squirrels. Blame our outreach efforts in a county where supporting the Second Amendment can create challenges. We attend community events to introduce people to CRPA and start conversations about firearms and individual rights. Then a squirrel changed our outreach strategy. Our squirrel sparked conversations with women who might never have approached our booth. That fluffy critter gave us a friendly way to start conversations. So, naturally, we kept the squirrel.

CHAPTER OBJECTIVES
- Safety — Every gun owner must make safety the first priority. We teach future generations to enjoy shooting sports safely.
- Training — Training makes you an asset. Skipping training makes you a liability. Train. Rinse. Repeat.
- Action — Second Amendment supporters face challenging numbers in Marin County. We take action because these issues extend beyond our community.
- Responsibility — Every gun owner represents the firearms community. Our meetings promote safe, lawful, and accountable firearm ownership.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
CRPA Marin County Gun Owners actively connects with local gun shops, ranges, community events, gun shows, and expos. We provide CRPA materials and share information about issues affecting California gun owners. We also meet community members who have never heard of CRPA or our mission. Every conversation gives us another opportunity to educate, answer questions, and grow our community. We have made great strides, but we still have plenty of work ahead. Millions of California gun owners can make a difference by staying informed and voting gun smart. We can protect Second Amendment rights by reaching, educating, and engaging those gun owners.
