The CRPA Pistol Instructor Course Inside the Home, Outside the Home, and Pistol Instructor is a blended instructor-level training program consisting of three integrated courses delivered over two days, with a required online module to be completed prior to in-person training. This program is designed for experienced shooters seeking instructor certification in pistol fundamentals and defensive firearm use in both home and public environments.The course provides in-depth instruction on firearm safety, instructional methodology, range management, legal considerations, and live-fire qualification standards, with specific emphasis on safe and lawful pistol use inside the home and outside the home. Successful completion of this CRPA instructor program meets the training prerequisite required to apply as a California Department of Justice (DOJ) Certified CCW Instructor, authorizing the graduate to teach DOJ-compliant CCW courses in the State of California, subject to agency approval.
