Despite a number of 2A cases appearing on the Supreme Court’s conference schedule for the past few months, we’re all still waiting for the Court to take a case that could help clarify the Bruen standard and it’s application.
Among the cases recently denied cert is B&L Productions Inc. (Crossroads of the West) v. Newsom, CRPA’s challenge to California’s ban on gun shows on state-owned property. This unique case engages both First and Second Amendment issues and the ruling from the Ninth Circuit was nothing short of bizarre, but still the Court still didn’t bite.
