Hours of the Fair

Wednesday through Sunday—10 am to 11 pm
Exhibit buildings 10 am—10 pm, Sunday until 9 pm
Carnival open 11 am—11 pm
Worship Services: 9 – 10 am on Sunday in the Special Events Tent

Using Nevada County Fairgrounds’ eTix online ticketing system, you can purchase and print your tickets (or have them scanned from your phone at the gate). To make a purchase, simply click on the ticket links above and follow the step-by-step instructions.

Wednesday, August 11
Scholar Students Day
Free admission for Nevada County Honor Roll students until 5 pm (by invitation only from the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools)

Thursday, August 12
Community Day
$3 admission all day for adults and children (free to children 5 and under) buy tickets
Free admission for disabled persons (and a chaperone for those who require assistance) until 5 pm

Friday, August 13
Family Friday
One free carnival ride coupon and free Fair souvenir to first 500 guests

Saturday, August 14
Military Appreciation Day
Free admission for active and retired military (who show ID) until 5 pm*
*For active and retired military members only and does not include family

Sunday, August 15
Sunday Funday
Free admission for children 12 and under until 5 pm

The following arena events take place at the 2021 Nevada County Fair. Tickets may also be purchased at the box office during the Fair.

Friday, August 13

All Star Monster Trucks, Stock and Modified Rough Truck Racing – 7 pm

Destruction Derby – 7 pm

Please note that admission to the Fair is not included with an arena event purchase. If you purchase arena tickets by Tuesday, August 10, at 5 pm, you can also purchase admission to the Fair for only $7.
