Competitive Shooting

Holding a decades-long tradition of facilitating and sanctioning competitive and recreational matches, CRPA works with ranges, clubs and other organizations throughout the state to increase local opportunities that get more people out having fun and pulling triggers. Today, more women, youth and minority athletes are participating in competitive shooting in a variety of disciplines. Largely based on precision and focus, this historic marksmanship sport is enjoyed by people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience.

URGENT NEED FOR YOUTH SHOOTING PROGRAMS!  DONATE AMMUNITION TODAY!

Youth shooting is in dire straights in California! Since last year the ability of youth shooting programs have been searching for ammunition just like every other gun owner. In the past these programs were able to get grants from nonprofits that would help them with the need for ammunition so that the next generation could keep shooting and training. CRPA has been collecting ammunition donations to keep these programs going in California against all odds and we have had some very generous donors who have operated ammunition donation drives for this CRPA program. Now, we are opening this up to all of our members to ask for your help. Many of the organizations that used to donate ammunition to youth shooting either no longer do this, or cannot because of the costs or scarcity.

WE NEED YOU TO KEEP YOUTH SHOOTING PROGRAMS GOING.

We are specifically looking for 9mm, .22, 12GA, 20GA because this is type most used by youth shooting sports. Please consider donating some ammunition today by calling the CRPA office at 714-992-2772. No amount is too small. Together, we can all work to keep that next generation engaged and on the range.
