CDFW Free Hunting Day Coming Nov. 23rd

The California Department of Fish & Wildlife will host a Free Hunting Day on Saturday, November 23rd. Held only twice each year, these days provide an opportunity for those new to hunting and conservation to get a taste of the wild.
You must have completed a hunter education course (perhaps through CRPA) and claim your Free Hunt Days Registration from CDFW before you can participate. Plus, a licensed hunter over 21 years of age must accompany you. All the details on how you can participate are on the Free Hunting Days webpage.
What a great time to take a young family member or friend and introduce them to the joys of hunting. With mainstream media continuing their assault on gun culture, opportunities for youth to positively engage in the conservation movement are dwindling. So grab your daughter, son, grandchild or family friend and take advantage of this program.
