California Chronic Wasting Disease Incentive Drawing

Nonprofit organizations are partnering with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to encourage hunters to help in the fight against Chronic Wasting Disease in our state.

 

Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) has been detected in California and we need your help! CWD is the most important disease affecting deer and elk populations in North America. CWD was recently detected for the first time in California’s mule deer. To protect California’s deer and elk populations, and our hunting traditions, we need your help.

Multiple nonprofit, environmentally conscience organizations are partnering with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to encourage hunters to help fight Chronic Wasting Disease in our state and track its impacts. Here is how you can help AND get a chance to win some great prizes and gear in the process!

 

 

       1. Get out and hunt! Once you have taken your deer,

      2. After submitting your sample,
